About Chala Metals

Chala Metals was formed for the principal purpose of exploration and development of the Achatayhua Project in Peru. The project is situated approximately 25km inland from the southern port city of Chala in Southern Peru, at an elevation of approximately 3900M. By road it is approximately 65km from the coast.

Exploration has been ongoing since discovery over 10 years ago, however the first drilling program is planned by Chala in coming months, following extensive mapping, surface sampling, geophysics and environmental studies. Early geological comparisons have been made with some of the largest copper/iron deposits in Peru such as Las Bambas (MMG, 1.8Bt @ 0.85% Cu), Cobrepampa (860Mt @ 41% Fe, 0.1% Cu, 0.1g/t Au)
